Asymmetric Therapy

In my 7 years of experience, I have grounded my work in a variety of modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS is a compassionate and psycho-spiritual approach that helps to create a more healing relationship with yourself that can last a lifetime. I have completed advanced training through the IFS Institute and I am currently completing my Level 1 certification. I also draw from psychodynamic and somatic approaches, narrative therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based approaches, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.

Alongside this work, I often support clients navigating experiences of grief and loss. You may be grieving the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, changes in your family, the loss of a hoped-for future, immigration and leaving behind familiar people and places, or a version of yourself that no longer feels attainable. Together, we’ll create space to honour your loss while helping you move forward in a way that feels meaningful and authentic.

I also enjoy supporting individuals navigating bicultural identities and cross-cultural experiences. I root this work in my own lived experience as a first generation Indian immigrant, who moved to Canada when I was young. I’ve learned first hand how balancing different cultural expectations, family values, and generational differences can influence identity, relationships, and mental health in complex ways. I strive to create a culturally responsive space where every part of your identity is welcomed, respected, and explored with curiosity and care.
